• Confirm that all produce items are accurately priced and signed, adhering to correct processes in ordering, clearance, margin adjustments, and signage.
• Observe food safety, hygiene, and cold chain protocols diligently, including performing temperature checks and ensuring compliance with expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock merchandise as required, apply protective measures on products when necessary, and set up modular displays such as flex modulars and shelf caps to keep the department stocked.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines to contribute to a safe, clean working space.
• Adapt to varying shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to support continuous store operations and consistent service quality.

Role Challenges

• Manage high volumes of tasks efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, particularly during overnight hours, to maintain energy and focus.
• Perform physical activities including extended standing, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Carry out repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing with consistent attention to detail to meet store standards.

Compensation

The minimum hourly wage for this position begins at 18.05 CAD.
