Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations within a designated store department.
• Drive the department to achieve or surpass sales and profitability targets.
• Coach and develop team members on customer service excellence, in-depth product knowledge, and effective merchandising.
• Ensure proper stocking, visual presentation, and pricing of merchandise.
• Keep track of inventory levels and collaborate with other teams to guarantee replenishment occurs promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff.
• Handle department-related expenses and contribute to budget planning.
• Communicate consistently with store leadership and other managers to support store-wide goals.
• Continuously seek talented individuals to expand the team.
• Lead, motivate, and inspire colleagues to enhance productivity, engagement, and retention.
• Commit to maintaining high merchandising and operational standards.
• Build and guide diverse teams that promote inclusivity and belonging.

Candidate Qualifications

• Completion of high school education or equivalent; additional college coursework is preferred.
• Prior experience in retail management, ideally within a department or specialty store environment.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and interpersonal skills capable of motivating and nurturing team members.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts and weekends.
• Proficient with fundamental computer applications, especially Microsoft Office.
• Knowledgeable in retail operations including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service.
• Physically capable of lifting/moving items up to 50 pounds and standing for long durations.

Additional Information

• Applicants aged 18 or older must pass a criminal background check as part of the hiring process.
• The salary range for this role is $48,000 to $58,000 per year, influenced by experience, knowledge, and geographic location.
• This is a newly created position.
