Role Overview

Based full-time and on-site in Al Khobar, the Procurement Officer will oversee the entire purchasing cycle. This includes identifying suitable suppliers, requesting and analyzing quotes, and issuing purchase orders for materials, equipment, and power solutions crucial to projects. The role involves negotiating pricing and contracts, tracking supplier performance, and ensuring deliveries meet project timelines and quality standards. Maintaining accurate procurement documentation, analyzing purchasing data, and working closely with project, logistics, and finance teams to synchronize procurement with project schedules and budgets are key responsibilities. The officer will also contribute to continuous enhancement of procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proven expertise in procurement and purchasing processes, including supplier sourcing and selection, and managing the end-to-end buying cycle.
• Ability to handle purchase orders effectively, including their creation, tracking, and alignment with delivery and invoices.
• Experience in negotiating contracts covering terms, pricing, and service agreements with both local and international vendors.
• Strong analytical capabilities for evaluating quotations, comparing supplier offers, optimizing expenses and supporting data-informed decisions.
• Relevant work experience within trading, construction, energy, industrial sectors, or power solutions is an advantage.
• Capability to work on-site at Al Khobar, coordinate with multiple teams, and manage concurrent procurement demands.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, meticulous attention to detail, with a strong commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.
• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; possession of professional procurement certifications is a plus.
