About the Role

Are you seeking a dynamic position where your daily efforts genuinely impact others? Join Sunnyfield Disability Services as a Process Worker & Transport Driver, contributing significantly to our production operations as well as transport services within Employment Services. In this role, you’ll support quality production while safely transporting supported employees to and from our employment programs. This hands-on role suits someone who values practical work, prioritizes safety and quality, and is passionate about helping people with disabilities participate in meaningful and inclusive work activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out production, packaging, and processing tasks adhering to quality and productivity goals.
  • Follow all production guidelines, work instructions, and quality criteria meticulously.
  • Keep workspaces clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
  • Spot and report any issues related to quality, safety, or operations promptly.
  • Support individuals with disabilities in engaging effectively in production-related activities.
  • Provide dependable and safe transport services for supported employees.
  • Perform vehicle inspections and communicate any maintenance or safety concerns for the fleet.
  • Manage transport schedules and maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Demonstrate a respectful, person-centric approach when interacting with employees, their families, and coworkers.

What We Look For

  • Previous experience within production, manufacturing, processing, or operational settings.
  • Strong dedication to workplace safety and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously while juggling multiple responsibilities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills paired with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in supporting people with disabilities is highly advantageous.
  • Valid experience driving Medium Rigid (MR) vehicles and transporting passengers.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted NSW Medium Rigid (MR) Driver Licence.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
  • National Criminal Record Check clearance.
  • Capability to meet the physical and functional demands of the position.
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and high-quality outcomes.
