Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for dependable and driven Process Workers to join our production team during day and afternoon shifts in a full-time, permanent capacity. This role is hands-on within a high-speed food manufacturing setting, tasked with assisting in production, packaging, and quality assurance of food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support production line activities including packing and preparing food items
- Operate machinery and equipment with full training provided
- Handle raw and cooked meat products within temperature-controlled environments
- Perform routine manual handling tasks such as lifting and repetitive movements
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and occupational safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrate a positive mindset and strong dedication to work
- Maintain a consistent focus on safe working practices
- Adapt well to fast-paced, repetitive task environments
- Physically capable of standing for extended durations during shifts
- Able to lift weights regularly between 15-20kg
- Comfortable working in chilled processing areas
- Follow instructions and internal protocols accurately
- Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team
Applicants must be available for full-time employment and undergo a pre-employment medical assessment including drug and alcohol screening. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
