Job Overview
We are seeking a diligent and dependable Picker Packer to become a vital part of our warehouse team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The successful candidate will handle the careful selection of products, ensure accurate packing, conduct thorough checks of items, and prepare shipments appropriately.
Primary Duties
- Select items as per customer orders or listed picks.
- Securely pack products for safe transit.
- Verify quantities, quality, and product codes before packaging.
- Properly label and seal all outgoing packages.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the packing and warehouse zones.
- Assist with loading and unloading stock when needed.
- Adhere to warehouse safety guidelines and company protocols.
- Notify supervisors promptly about any damages, shortages, or incorrect items.
- Complete tasks efficiently within set timeframes.
Candidate Qualifications
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long durations.
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
