Role Overview
We invite you to be a residential Process Technician at our Kanowna Belle Operations, a world-class site with over a decade of mine life remaining. This role features a 7 days on/7 days off roster comprising 12-hour day and night shifts, providing a stable and rewarding career path within our technical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with cross shifts, maintenance teams, and colleagues to share production and maintenance updates, responding promptly to instructions from the crew leader.
- Recognize and address hazards related to industrial equipment, electrical components, chemicals, environmental conditions, confined spaces, and work at heights.
- Report operational deviations from set points immediately to the crew leader and ensure all operational checks and defect management are conducted diligently.
- Commit fully to workplace safety and health by proactively mitigating injury risks and equipment damage.
- Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives and participate in communication and awareness programs aimed at environmental protection and pollution prevention.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in processing at a plant level, including at least 1 year in minerals processing.
- Ability to operate independently and function within a team, fostering positive relationships and knowledge sharing according to the department's training standards.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills, along with eagerness to learn and seek assistance when needed.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Valid Western Australian "C" Class Driver's Licence.
