Process Technician

Dyson's Singapore Advanced Manufacturing facility based in Pioneer is searching for a Process Technician to join their team and support automated production lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee production line metrics such as yield rates and quality assessments, collaborating closely with various departments to maintain optimal performance.
• Conduct initial troubleshooting and identify root causes when encountering high defect rates or non-conformance in production.
• Assist engineering teams by resolving day-to-day manufacturing issues and participating in ongoing improvement projects.
• Execute engineering builds and trials following established protocols.
• Perform fundamental defect inspections and verify manufacturing processes as instructed.
• Accurately document process-related data and observations in a timely manner.
• Suggest and implement straightforward process modifications aimed at boosting quality and operational efficiency.
• Provide hands-on training to production operators guided by work instructions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and uphold cleanliness and organization of the workplace (5S methodology).

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of three years’ experience in an environment using automated production lines.
• Educational qualification of ITC or Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Availability to work shifts and undertake overtime as needed.
• Capability to accurately distinguish colored wires, signals, indicators, or labels, critical for safely executing tasks.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analysis software such as JMP or Minitab is advantageous.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or production settings is considered a plus.
