About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Private Wealth Assistant to join our team based in Gisborne. This permanent, full-time role operates Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will provide essential administrative and organizational support to our Investment Advisers, playing a key role within our office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and prepare correspondence and other official documents for Investment Advisers.
- Manage and maintain client files and documentation to support advisers effectively.
- Assist Advisers in preparing for client meetings and attend these meetings as necessary.
- Help clients with their account opening paperwork and processes.
- Oversee diary management and coordinate travel arrangements for Advisers.
- Carry out ongoing due diligence to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Support the process for quarterly portfolio reports.
- Contribute to organizing client-related events when required.
- Welcome visitors courteously and professionally.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and address inquiries appropriately.
Candidate Profile
This role is suited to someone enthusiastic about financial markets and eager to provide robust support within a close-knit and growing team. Candidates should be adaptable to learn new systems quickly and have skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and ideally some experience working with CRM software. While at least one year of relevant experience in a financial services setting is preferred, it is not mandatory.
