Custodial Administrator - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

About the Position

We are seeking a Custodial Administrator to join the Operations team on a 12-month fixed term contract at the Head Office in Tauranga. This role reports directly to the Custodial Services Manager.

Key Duties

• Manage and coordinate stock transfers for current CSL clients within agreed service standards, including stock movements into and out of CSL custody.
• Perform custodial reconciliations, process trading and new issues, and handle general administrative tasks.
• Enter physical stock into custody for NZX and ASX assets using the CSL Transfer spreadsheet.
• Assist with account closures by transferring assets out of CSL and returning them to clients' ownership.
• Support Broker-to-Broker stock transfers in and out of custody.
• Process shunts between different depositories.
• Handle requests related to Company Disclosures.
• Manage tax status changes based on residency and update parent details accordingly.
• Coordinate with the Portfolio Reporting team on price, quantity, or narration adjustments.
• Transfer stocks out of relevant accounts into the CIP Relinquished Assets account, maintain the Relinquished Assets Register with accuracy, and inform Private Wealth Assistants.
