Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert consultancy services in transport engineering and planning, emphasizing analysis, design, reporting, and project supervision.
- Contribute actively to the Transport Infrastructure sub-sector's success by supporting its business objectives.
- Provide high-level engineering expertise to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness for project teams and clients.
- Lead or support project teams by managing and guiding projects following established project management standards.
- Champion best practices and technical excellence through rigorous technical reviews and lead strategic or critical projects.
- Manage transport engineering aspects ensuring all technical verifications and audits adhere to company procedures.
- Collaborate with project teams to complete projects on time, within financial budgets, and to the desired quality, maintaining profitability targets.
- Prepare detailed project planning and scoping with well-defined inputs, outputs, and verification activities.
- Handle administrative tasks including project progress and financial reporting.
- Perform technical reviews and verification activities on project deliverables.
- Ensure all designs, drawings, strategies, and reports meet expected outcomes and standards.
- Estimate fees and negotiate client contracts to secure profitable project engagements.
- Participate in business development activities, client meetings, and company events under client relationship leadership.
- Collaborate with colleagues across WSP's national and international transportation teams to support projects and foster business growth.
Candidate Profile
- Over eight years of professional experience in transportation infrastructure, engineering, and planning.
- Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in transport engineering or related disciplines.
- Hold Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or an equivalent professional accreditation.
- Minimum of Level 2 accreditation per WSP PMAF or an equivalent, including five years of professional project leadership experience.
- Proven track record in business development, successfully identifying and leveraging opportunities to increase revenue, profit, and market presence.
