Principal, Solution Engineering Enablement

Role Overview

As Principal of Solution Engineering Enablement, you will be the Chief Activation Officer driving capability building within the Solution Engineering (SE) team. Embedded alongside leadership, you will design, implement, and measure learning initiatives tailored to elevate SE performance linked directly to business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic enablement partner to SE leadership; identify skill deficits tied to business goals and prescribe targeted solutions.
• Curate and quality-check training content including validating AI-generated outputs and maintaining a reliable source of truth for product and theater-specific materials.
• Analyze data signals from multiple sources such as Gong, Salesforce, and leadership input to diagnose and prioritize field skill gaps.
• Design effective activation experiences using the appropriate delivery methods (e.g., hands-on labs, AI skills, coaching nudges) and evaluate behavioral changes, not just training completion.
• Bridge communication gaps among Product, Field, Leadership, and learners by managing intake, creating targeted technical content, and ensuring alignment with release schedules.
• Build strong relationships as a key member of the extended SE leadership team.
• Scale local enablement successes to organizational-wide programs, capturing best practices to share broadly.
• Collaborate closely with the Global SE Onboarding team to continuously enhance onboarding and ongoing learning based on segment needs.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience in enterprise software, solution engineering, and enablement within the data domain.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong analytical, business, technical, and sales skills.
• Deep expertise with database technologies such as OLAP/OLTP, SQL, and/or Python.
• Experience or certification with Snowflake products (SnowPro Core or Advanced) is a plus.
• Additional experience with data science or Apache Spark is advantageous.
• Demonstrated skill in designing, building, and delivering impactful learning and enablement programs.
• Proven ability to influence and garner support across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Competent at managing multiple competing projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality results on time.
• Highly organized with excellent verbal and presentation communication abilities.
• Experience thriving in fast-evolving environments requiring strategic thinking, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
