Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Principal Solutions Architect to lead architecture strategy across Commercial, Service, Systems, and Installed Base domains. In this senior technical position within the Enterprise Data & Analytics team, you will be tasked with defining and guiding an integrated, scalable, and data-centered architecture framework aligned with business goals and tech investments globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and uphold the architectural vision and roadmap spanning multiple business domains.
  • Design enterprise solutions that are scalable, secure, and sustainable to support growth.
  • Create and enforce architectural standards, frameworks, and best practices for data and applications.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of architecture across strategic initiatives and tech investments.
  • Provide expert technical advice on complex solution designs and cross-team projects.
  • Drive development of the enterprise data platform using technologies like Snowflake, Coalesce, Azure Data Factory, and Fivetran.
  • Promote a unified enterprise data model encompassing customer, commercial, service, system, and asset data.
  • Maintain master data consistency, semantic standards, governance, and data quality across areas.
  • Support creation of data products for analytics, reporting, operational insights, and AI/ML applications.
  • Advance modern architecture for enhanced platform flexibility and business value.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and stakeholder teams to align technology roadmaps and priorities.
  • Oversee architecture reviews and major programs ensuring enterprise standard compliance.
  • Define integrations across CRM, ERP, service, digital, customer experience, and enterprise systems.
  • Streamline solutions to reduce duplication, technical debt and promote reusability.
  • Set governance processes for consistent architecture decisions across global teams.
  • Identify and integrate cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation in solutions.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams to cultivate architectural maturity and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Over 12 years of experience in enterprise or solution architecture, with a history of architecting large-scale solutions for complex global enterprises.
  • Proven expertise in leading architecture strategies across multiple business domains and technology landscapes.
  • Hands-on experience with digital transformation, platform modernization, and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Strong ability to influence technology decisions at executive leadership levels.
  • Technical mastery of cloud-based data platforms, particularly Snowflake, Coalesce, Azure Data Factory, and Fivetran.
  • Deep understanding of data integration, governance, master data management, metadata, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with analytics, AI/ML platforms, and enterprise integration patterns including APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with security, compliance, privacy, and scalability standards in enterprise environments.
  • Preferred: Experience in Commercial, Service, Manufacturing, Customer Experience, or Installed Base domains and working in global matrix teams.
  • Certifications in Azure, Snowflake, or enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF are desirable.
  • Knowledge of domain-oriented architectures like data mesh and data product methodologies.
