About the Role
Join our team dedicated to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and currency of critical technology data throughout our organisation. You will engage extensively with ServiceNow Discovery and our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) capabilities to effectively identify, map, and manage technology assets and their connections. Collaborating closely with multiple technology teams, you will enhance data quality, enable automation, and ensure that service management information is trustworthy and suitable for purpose. This is a permanent position offering flexible working options.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Operate and optimise ServiceNow Discovery, managing discovery schedules, credential handling, and MID Servers.
- Oversee and advance CMDB data integrity, asset relationships, and configuration management procedures.
- Design, configure, and maintain Discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and automated tools.
- Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise technology ecosystems, including cloud infrastructure, networking components, and contemporary platforms.
- Work collaboratively with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders, offering expert advice and guidance.
