Role Overview
This position is part of Saviynt Labs, where innovation in Enterprise Identity solutions drives product development. The engineering team builds and manages SaaS software using cutting-edge technology with a focus on engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and participate in defining requirements for projects.
- Collaborate across teams to develop software design and architecture.
- Create advanced enterprise identity cloud-based applications.
- Conduct testing and deployment of software systems.
- Update, refactor, debug, and maintain both new and existing programs.
- Document software development processes throughout the lifecycle.
- Provide expert technical support related to applications.
- Adhere strictly to agile methodologies and practices.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 13 years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, RESTful services, and Microservices architecture.
- Significant experience developing secure applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases, Elasticsearch, Redis, and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Groovy on Grails is advantageous.
- Extensive experience in application development management, solution architecture, and process improvements.
- Skilled in unit, functional, and system integration testing.
- Deep understanding of agile environments using Scrum and Kanban frameworks.
- Experience with Git platforms such as GitHub or GitLab, automated deployment, and continuous integration processes.
- Familiarity with development IDEs like IntelliJ or Eclipse/My Eclipse, along with Maven/Ant build tools and writing JUnit test cases.
- Exposure to AI development tools embedded in the software development lifecycle, including Amazon Q, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and other productivity assistants.
