About the Role

As a Pricer with Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast, you will be essential in managing donated items—from sorting and pricing to preparing them for sale—helping retail locations operate efficiently while supporting the organization's mission to empower individuals through work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize incoming donations by categorizing items as saleable, salvageable, or trash.
  • Assign prices accurately to merchandise guided by set baseline pricing standards.
  • Manage product placement, rotation, and merchandising on the sales floor to optimize sales.
  • Keep your work environment orderly, safe, and clean at all times.
  • Meet daily production goals to maintain a smooth workflow, known internally as keeping the “Goodwill River” moving.
  • Provide outstanding service to donors and customers consistently.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, security measures, and company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Knowledge or familiarity with clothing, antiques, and collectibles is preferred.
  • Possession of a High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.
  • Previous experience within a retail setting is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Availability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods, bend, and reach as needed.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds without assistance; heavier loads require teamwork.
  • Capability to apply substantial physical effort for moving objects aligned with job duties.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive movements requiring manual dexterity.
