Pricefx Engineer

Job Overview

The Pricefx Engineer will engage in designing and enhancing both new and existing Pricefx solutions. As part of an agile team, the role involves configuring packaged applications and devising solutions to moderately complex challenges to facilitate the company's pricing strategies through advanced pricing technology. This position demands comprehensive expertise in software engineering and security to ensure that solutions are scalable, resilient, and robust.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage over six years of experience to configure and tailor Pricefx packaged applications aligned with stakeholder requirements.
• Utilize software engineering best practices and design patterns to develop, test, integrate, maintain, and debug moderately complex software solutions while embedding security protocols in all developed and maintained software.
• Collaborate with the team to embrace agile methodologies, actively contribute to agile ceremonies, and suggest areas for process enhancements.
• Engage in peer code reviews both as a contributor and reviewer to uphold code quality standards.
• Implement continuous integration, testing, and deployment processes following development and operational best practices.
• Manage both front-end and back-end development tasks along with integration modules.
• Follow Azure DevOps (ADO) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows to govern code change management.

Technical and Functional Expertise

• Proficient in groovy scripting, JavaScript, Camel integration platform, and HTML for customizing user interfaces within Pricefx.
• Hands-on experience with Pricefx or similar pricing platforms such as PROS or Vendavo.
• Solid understanding of pricing concepts, including rebates and optimization strategies.
• Experience delivering solutions integrated with complex enterprise systems like SAP/ERP, Salesforce/CRM, and e-commerce platforms through RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SaaS models and major cloud service providers including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
