Prescription Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a Prescription Manager to spearhead specification and prescription efforts for Schneider Electric's product portfolio, including Low Voltage, Medium Voltage, Busways, UPS Systems, and Digital Solutions. This role involves collaborating with consultants, end-users, and influential stakeholders to promote Schneider's technologies as the top choice for critical infrastructure, commercial properties, industrial sites, and data centers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture strong ties with consultants and design institutes.
• Strategically position Schneider’s product solutions within project specifications.
• Deliver technical presentations and conduct workshops highlighting Schneider’s unique value propositions.
• Spot prescription opportunities early in project phases and steer them towards Schneider’s benefit.
• Ensure all solutions are compliant with IEC standards, IEEE regulations, and local utility requirements.
• Collaborate with bid and tender teams by providing specification knowledge and strategies.
• Promote power product lines such as LV Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, and Busway systems.
• Advocate Medium Voltage products including Air-Insulated and SF6-Free Switchgear, Protection Relays, and related digital services.
• Showcase UPS & Secure Power solutions tailored for data centers and critical facilities.
• Highlight digital solutions encompassing power & grid software, monitoring, energy efficiency analytics, and digital twins.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, trends, and consultant preferences to aid strategic positioning.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, tendering, and execution teams to ensure project success.
• Share insights and align local practices with Schneider’s global innovation strategies.
• Promote Schneider's sustainability initiatives by demonstrating the role of LV, MV, UPS, and digital technologies in energy transition.
• Champion digitization, smart grid readiness, and power quality during engagements with consultants and end-users.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in power distribution or equivalent sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of IEC 61439, IEC 60947, IEC 62271, IEEE 519, and UPS standards.
• Proven track record in engaging consultants, specification sales, or technical business growth.
• Experience with digital platforms and energy management software is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities with prowess in influencing senior-level stakeholders.
