Job description

Role Overview

The Site Program Lead acts as the senior leader overseeing construction across multiple locations, ensuring all work is carried out safely, punctually, and efficiently under the HUMAIN program and general contractor operations. This role holds full accountability for managing construction execution, workforce and subcontractors, site logistics, productivity, and preparation for commissioning. Reporting directly to this lead, Site Managers execute daily activities within their respective sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Devising and implementing overall multi-site construction strategies
  • Delivering construction projects successfully and on schedule
  • Overseeing safety performance consistently across all operational fronts
  • Managing workforce and subcontractors comprehensively
  • Coordinating site logistics and ensuring operational readiness
  • Driving construction productivity and milestone completion
  • Preparing the site for commissioning and turnover
  • Providing leadership and coordination among all Site Managers within the program
  • Engaging actively with customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Planning and coordinating construction activities
  • Controlling site budgets and resource allocation
  • Leading Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives
  • Identifying and managing construction risks
  • Monitoring and reporting progress to governance bodies
  • Committing to Schneider Electric’s values and ensuring compliance on site

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields is mandatory
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management preferred
  • At least 15 years of experience in site management and construction
  • Proven track record managing large, complex industrial or mission-critical projects across multiple sites simultaneously with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated leadership in multi-site Data Center programs, including hyperscale campus projects, coordinating regional construction teams
  • Strong strategic leadership skills to align multidisciplinary teams and project goals across dispersed locations
  • Ability to develop, coach, and motivate teams while fostering cooperation and conflict resolution in complex environments
  • Competent in making decisions under pressure with strong problem-solving, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Effective communicator with executive presence and experience managing diverse, multicultural teams
  • Experience driving standardization and operational excellence across geographically distributed teams
  • Skilled at building alignment between diverse customer organizations and project personnel
