About the Role
Join i2 Group, part of Harris Computer, as a Presales Technical Consultant in Dubai. This permanent, full-time position focuses on expanding i2's presence across EMEA, particularly within enterprise and public sector clients. The role involves collaborating with regional sales teams to interpret customer needs, align solutions, and build confidence in i2's offerings to advance complex sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with EMEA sales colleagues to engage public sector and commercial clients, leading technical discovery discussions to understand requirements, challenges, and procurement criteria.
- Match customer demands to i2's products, services, integrations, and delivery options, translating operational issues into clear technical solutions and value-based use cases.
- Create and deliver tailored software demonstrations reflecting customer scenarios and sector workflows to aid in opportunity advancement.
- Present technology clearly to diverse audiences, use demos to build trust, clarify needs, handle objections, and promote next steps.
- Support tender and proposal processes by providing technical input, developing documentation, and ensuring accurate, compelling responses in collaboration with internal teams.
- Gather and relay product feedback to influence development priorities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of capabilities for accurate customer messaging.
- Participate in conferences, exhibitions, and customer events to represent i2 solutions, including regular regional travel (up to 50% expected).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales, pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or related roles involving customer-facing technology engagements.
- Strong capability to analyze customer needs and map them to appropriate products and services.
- Experience delivering software demonstrations to varied audiences including business, operational, and technical stakeholders.
- Skill in producing technical content for tenders, proposals, and client documentation.
- Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly across sales, product, development, delivery, and partner teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the EMEA region.
Preferred Experience
- Background in enterprise software, analytics, data platforms, investigation, intelligence, or mission-critical technology environments.
- Familiarity with public sector, defense, law enforcement, national security, financial crime, or regulated sectors.
- Experience engaging partners, system integrators, consultancies, or working within partner-led sales frameworks.
- Understanding of operational workflows, data integration, analytics, and decision-support tools.
- Previous roles in enterprise technology consulting, delivery, product management, or technical implementations.
