Overview
The Presales Field Representative is tasked with regularly visiting various animal feed markets and outlets across the region to build and nurture relationships with influential buyers and decision-makers. This role involves extensive travel, keen observation of market competition and pricing, processing customer orders, and ensuring timely delivery follow-ups. success in this role depends on mobility, strong market acumen, and proactive customer interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily visits to assigned customers and animal feed markets.
- Drive up to 800 kilometers per day to cover market territories and retail points.
- Identify and connect with principal stakeholders such as store proprietors and major traders.
- Observe and report on competitor pricing, market fluctuations, and customer opinions.
- Promote and showcase United Feeds’ products to new and existing clients.
- Successfully place customer orders and manage the entire delivery tracking process.
- Keep detailed daily records of client visits, order statuses, and market conditions.
- Manage follow-up actions regarding customers’ credit status.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years’ experience in pre-sales roles.
- Possession of a valid driving license and the ability to undertake long-distance travel.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
- Comfortable using smartphones and basic digital reporting tools.
- Good understanding of local geography and market behavior trends.
- Availability for immediate joining.
