Control Room Operator

Job Overview

The position entails oversight and management of plant operations through SCADA and PLC control systems, ensuring continuous monitoring of process parameters and timely response to operational events. The operator will collaborate closely with field personnel to manage equipment and production processes safely and effectively.

Main Duties

• Operate and observe plant processes remotely via SCADA/PLC interfaces
• Track operational parameters and detect any deviations or irregular conditions
• Communicate with field teams to initiate, halt, or modify production machinery and workflows
• Respond swiftly to alarms, process anomalies, and emergency scenarios in accordance with established protocols
• Keep detailed records of production data and operational activities
• Flag equipment faults, process irregularities, and safety matters to responsible departments
• Ensure adherence to all safety, quality, and operational guidelines
• Contribute to uninterrupted and efficient plant production operations

Candidate Requirements

• Fundamental knowledge of SCADA and PLC technologies
• Ability to interpret and understand process operating parameters
• Basic proficiency in English communication
• Compliance with operational procedures and safety instructions
• Strong attention to detail and capability to function in a control room setting
• Prior experience in feed mills or industrial plants will be considered an asset

Work Location

The role is based onsite in Yanbu Al Sinaiyah, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
