Role Overview

As a Manager Security Engineering, you will lead and develop a dynamic Sales Engineering team focused on advocating and selling Check Point solutions. This role demands strong cybersecurity product knowledge, exceptional leadership abilities, and a successful background in presales activities. You will be instrumental in driving revenue growth, nurturing customer and partner relationships, and ensuring your team's sales targets are achieved or surpassed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of IT security engineers to meet individual and collective goals.
  • Create a positive and collaborative culture within the team.
  • Define and execute technical sales strategies aimed at revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with sales colleagues to discover and support new business opportunities.
  • Remain informed on industry trends, market dynamics, and advances in cybersecurity technology.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships with sales representatives, customers, and partners, tailoring cybersecurity solutions to meet their needs.
  • Ensure high customer and partner satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor technical performance metrics to pinpoint improvement areas and implement efficiency enhancements.
  • Deliver regular performance reports to the SE Director.
  • Provide continuous training, coaching, and development to enhance team skills and best practices.
  • Identify skill gaps and roll out appropriate training programs.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning.
  • Work closely with employees on strategic account planning and utilize frameworks such as MEDDPICC.
  • Travel as necessary and manage work remotely with periodic office presence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or related discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt within an evolving cybersecurity landscape.
  • Proven leadership experience in sales and account acquisition.
  • Talent management, coaching, and supervisory skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
  • Deep expertise in IT security products and services, including Cloud and SASE technologies.
  • Capability to develop and apply effective technical strategies.
  • Business acumen with process-oriented mindset.
  • Experience managing customer and partner relationships and driving business development.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Open to necessary business travel and hybrid remote work model.
