Prepared Foods Dishwasher (Full Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small kitchenware.
• Ensure the cleanliness of kitchen floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves.
• Assist in handling kitchen deliveries with appropriate storage, organizing, and stock rotation.
• Report to work punctually, in proper attire and grooming, ready for assigned shifts, training, and meetings.
• Deliver excellent customer service, promptly responding to customer needs and practicing suggestive selling techniques while handling communications courteously.
• Maximize sales potential by following proper procedures for preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and product merchandising.
• Follow all established protocols including weight and measure accuracy, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace and ensure equipment upkeep consistent with company standards.
• Perform designated opening, mid, and closing tasks, including verifying pricing and signage, and promptly report safety concerns.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership at various levels.

Experience

No prior retail experience is necessary to qualify for this role.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Expect to be standing or walking for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift.
• Use of hands involves grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
• Physical activities include bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals approved by the FDA.
• Working temperatures range from freezing (<32°F) to above 90°F, including refrigerator environments (32-40°F).
• Work conditions include both wet and dry settings and may require the use of tools like knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, ladders, and other heavy equipment.
• Flexible scheduling required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $17.00 to $25.40 per hour, based on experience. New team members who complete their first 90 days and remain in eligible positions may receive a base rate increase.
