Job Summary

The Dishwasher role involves maintaining cleanliness of dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and workspaces to ensure sanitary conditions throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Remove and rinse food residues from dishes, washing them manually or by using dishwashing machines according to assigned equipment to guarantee full cleanliness and sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following standardized procedures ensuring proper sanitation.
• Polish silverware using equipment such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or by hand, maintaining hygiene standards.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain chemical levels and temperatures as required.
• Keep dishwashing area neat and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to uphold sanitation and safety regulations.
• Clean work surfaces including tables, walls, refrigeration units, and food preparation blocks.
• Manage trash disposal by transferring waste to designated containers and steam cleaning or hosing out garbage cans.
• Assist with transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Participate in loading and unloading deliveries as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum three years' experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment is mandatory.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position based at Creighton Prep, 7400 Western Avenue, Omaha, NE 68114. Workdays are Monday through Friday with hours varying; specifics will be discussed during the interview process.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour. Selected employees receive complimentary meals, uniforms, and laundering services at certain locations.
