Job Overview

This full-time role involves maintaining dishes, kitchenware, and kitchen areas in a sanitary and orderly manner. The dishwasher ensures cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen surfaces, and equipment, following safety protocols and chemical standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Remove food residues from dishes then wash them either by hand or in dishwashing machines to ensure thorough sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays according to established procedures, guaranteeing complete cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using designated equipment or hand methods based on assigned duties.
• Follow all safety guidelines strictly during dishwashing and cleaning activities.
• Monitor and maintain proper temperature and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keep dishwashing areas organized and compliant with safety and cleanliness policies.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to meet safety and hygiene requirements.
• Sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash appropriately, including steam cleaning or hosing garbage bins.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work locations as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• At least one year of prior dishwashing experience is mandatory.

Working Schedule and Location

Positions are full-time with varying days worked, generally from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The work location is Saint James at 6010 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL 36116. Note that applications are accepted online only.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay rate is set at $15.00. Select locations provide free meals, uniforms, and laundering services.
