Job Overview

We seek a full-time Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas. This role requires adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

• Remove food debris from dirty dishes and clean them by hand or using dishwashing machines depending on equipment assigned, ensuring complete sanitation.
• Clean pots, pans, and trays following assigned procedures to ensure thorough cleanliness.
• Polish silverware using various methods such as burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, or hand cloths, maintaining hygiene standards.
• Follow safety guidelines to maintain compliance.
• Monitor and maintain proper temperatures and chemical levels as per standards.
• Keep dishwashing area clean and safe according to required standards.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain sanitation and safety.
• Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food preparation surfaces.
• Dispose of trash into designated containers; clean garbage cans via steaming or hosing.
• Move supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and products as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferred prior experience in dishwashing.

Work Schedule and Location

This is a full-time position based at Stratford Academy, 6010 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31220. Working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranges from $15.00 to $16.00.
