Role Overview

As a Prep Technician, you will conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) on both new and used vehicles, adhering strictly to manufacturer standards and guidelines. The position requires you to complete inspections within agreed timelines, maintain high productivity levels, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service. Emphasis is placed on quality workmanship and achieving first-time fixes.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant formal qualification such as Automotive City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in fast fit, independent, or franchised garage environments
• Possession of a personal set of tools
• A valid full UK driving licence

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a base salary of £32,440 based on a 42-hour workweek, supplemented by a performance-related bonus scheme. Additionally, a £4,000 sign-on bonus is available, paid in two parts: £2,000 after the first month and £2,000 following 12 months of continuous service.
