Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Precision Workshop Machinist to perform precision engineering tasks in our workshop, primarily using manual lathes and milling machines.

Responsibilities

• Operate various workshop machines including manual lathes and milling machines with proficiency.

• Offer technical guidance and support when necessary.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety standards.
• Complete tasks punctually, effectively managing emergency work situations as they arise.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification plus a minimum of 3 years’ experience in machining or turning.
• Expertise in using multiple workshop machines such as manual lathes and milling equipment.
• Good understanding of tooling and materials.
• Competence with machining speeds and feeds for cutting various metals to precise tolerances.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate records.
