About the Role
Join PwC New Zealand as a Facilities Coordinator within our Internal Firm Services team in Wellington. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-organized working environment. This dynamic position involves managing facility operations, supporting workplace functions, coordinating contractor activities, and overseeing security administration to ensure that offices are maintained professionally and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver daily facilities support in Wellington and other regional offices as necessary.
- Manage workplace operations including mail distribution, courier handling, stationery procurement, and general office procedures.
- Coordinate and supervise repairs, maintenance tasks, and contractor activities while ensuring site access and compliance with safe work protocols.
- Administer security and access controls, involving card management, record keeping, and auditing processes.
- Assist in supplier management, invoice verification, and maintenance of documentation related to facilities.
- Handle locker allocations, car parking administration, and maintenance of workplace records.
- Engage with stakeholders to identify and escalate hazards, risks, accidents, and incidents appropriately.
- Support event logistics including setup, supplier access, and restoration of the workplace post-event.
- Maintain accurate records, process documentation, and management systems related to facilities.
- Collaborate with Business Services colleagues to ensure a professional experience for clients and employees.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in a comparable facilities management, workplace support, or operational coordination role, ideally within professional services or corporate settings.
- Capability to manage contractors and coordinate activities among various external service providers.
- Excellent communication abilities suitable for interaction across all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational skills combined with effective prioritization and problem-solving aptitude.
- Attention to detail, especially concerning record accuracy, access control, and follow-up procedures.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional workplace services.
- Awareness of workplace health and safety protocols and the importance of timely risk escalation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with related workplace software systems.
- Demonstrates teamwork spirit and accountability within the workgroup.
