About the Role
Join Datacom as a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist where you will lead efforts to generate new business and boost revenue by partnering with customers to deliver tailored data centre solutions supporting Hybrid Cloud and AI innovations. Your role merges technical prowess with commercial insight, collaborating closely with sales teams and clients to design and showcase solutions deployed throughout Datacom's Data Centres.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized pre-sales technical support focused on Datacom's Data Centre and networking solutions.
- Create and present engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations as well as conduct collaborative customer workshops.
- Assess, design, and assist in implementing complex technical solutions with customers.
- Build proof-of-concept applications and prototypes to validate solution feasibility.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships by understanding their goals and purchase criteria.
- Coordinate and actively participate in sales campaigns, promotional events, and related activities.
- Serve as the main contact point between clients and Datacom ensuring consistently high-quality service delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in pre-sales or sales roles with proven account management success.
- Deep understanding of Hybrid Cloud networking, cloud workloads, and Data Centre deployments.
- Skillful at engaging and influencing technical leaders and stakeholders at various levels.
- Strong analytical abilities with excellent problem-solving aptitudes.
- Outstanding communication and presentation talents, able to clearly translate complex technical information into business benefits.
- Committed to customer satisfaction and nurturing durable partnerships.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- Certifications in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or SDN Networking are advantageous.
