PPE Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a PPE Technical Specialist to join a respected organization within the workwear and protective clothing sector. This role involves regular travel across the UK, providing customer-facing services focused on measuring, fitting, and inspecting PPE and protective garments.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer locations to measure and fit employees with PPE and protective clothing.
• Conduct measurements for new hires and perform re-measurements as required.
• Carry out customer site audits and inspect PPE equipment to ensure compliance and safety.
• Collaborate with external vendors for PPE inspection, cleaning, and repairs support.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries promptly and efficiently.
• Keep precise and up-to-date records of customer data and orders.
• Independently manage workload, travel plans, and set priorities accordingly.
• Act as a professional representative of the company during customer visits.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience working with PPE, workwear, protective clothing, or uniforms is required.
• Hands-on experience in measuring, fitting, or garment inspection is highly valued.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Proficient in using IT tools such as Excel and Word.
• Self-motivated, organized, proactive, and capable of working autonomously.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the UK.
• Possession of a valid UK driving license is mandatory.
• Flexible availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
• Experience collaborating with Fire & Rescue Services is a bonus.
