Power Distribution Operations and Maintenance Coordinator

Job Overview

This role focuses on managing and coordinating operations and maintenance activities in the power distribution sector. The coordinator will supervise fault tracking, handle emergency responses, and ensure seamless shift transitions and communication among teams to uphold power service quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and document faults, service interruptions, and power outages within the distribution network.
• Lead and coordinate emergency operation and maintenance tasks during assigned shifts.
• Ensure thorough and accurate handover and takeover between shifts to maintain continuity.
• Follow up with maintenance and field teams to resolve outstanding operational issues promptly.
• Compile and prepare detailed daily shift summaries and operational reports.
• Maintain comprehensive records relating to faults, maintenance work, and overall system performance metrics.
• Address and escalate customer complaints concerning power services as needed to guarantee resolution.
• Oversee restoration efforts following power interruptions and ensure all follow-up actions are completed.
• Provide guidance to team members, ensuring compliance with established procedures and safety standards.
