Position Overview
Join the dynamic environment of mail operations at Canada Post in Dryden, Ontario. This full-time, permanent role offers the chance to engage in various shifts including days, evenings, overnight, and weekends. The position is bilingual imperative (--BB), emphasizing strong communication abilities in both official languages. This role involves hands-on work supporting mail sorting and distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming mail items and ensure proper acceptance protocols.
- Sort, scan, sequence, and batch mail for processing and distribution.
- Load and transfer items onto postal trucks efficiently and safely.
- Manage parcel and packet dispatch operations.
- Complete all required reports and documentation accurately.
- Handle mail loads up to 22.7 kilograms (50 pounds) in weight.
- Perform additional duties relevant to postal clerk functions as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Applicants do not require prior experience; entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Experience in a production or operational setting is considered advantageous.
