Post-Contract Quantity Surveyor

About the Role

Tripod Global seeks a seasoned Quantity Surveyor specializing in post-contract phases to manage the commercial aspects of fit-out and joinery projects. This role offers a chance to lead post-contract administration covering variations, claims, subcontractor oversight, cost management, and closing accounts.

Main Duties

• Prepare, assess, and submit interim payment claims consistent with contractual and project progress standards.
• Identify, draft, negotiate, and conclude variation orders, claims, and extension of time requests with clients and consultants.
• Oversee project cost management, track budgets, generate cost reporting, and ensure commercial success throughout project duration.
• Compile and update Cost to Complete (CTC) reports, Contract Review Variations (CRVs), cash flow predictions, and finalize accounts.
• Lead subcontractor procurement processes, evaluate bids, manage subcontract agreements, approve payments, and negotiate changes and final settlements.
• Handle post-contract commercial procedures, maintain thorough contractual documentation, and assist project teams in meeting financial and commercial goals.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated background as a Quantity Surveyor within fit-out, interior, or joinery sectors.
• Comprehensive expertise in post-contract commercial procedures.
• Practical knowledge managing variations, claims, EOTs, payment applications, subcontract engagements, and account closures.
• Solid grasp of contract administration, cost monitoring, and commercial report generation.
• Strong negotiation aptitude along with analytical and clear communication skills.
• Capable of working autonomously while effectively collaborating with project and commercial teams.
