Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled POS Developer to design, develop, and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions aligning with business needs. The role involves working with Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server, Hardware Station, and POS extensions, along with configuration and customization of Modern POS, Cloud POS, and Store Commerce apps.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and implement Dynamics 365 Commerce solutions per business requirements.
- Maintain and develop Commerce Runtime, Retail Server, Hardware Station, and POS extensions.
- Configure and tailor Modern POS, Cloud POS, and Store Commerce applications.
- Build integrations between D365 Commerce and third-party platforms using APIs, Azure services, and middleware.
- Create and manage custom workflows, services, and business logic within the D365 Commerce ecosystem.
- Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, optimize performance, and troubleshoot Commerce applications.
- Support deployment processes, release management, and resolve production issues.
- Prepare technical design documentation, deployment guides, and comprehensive solution documentation.
- Follow Microsoft coding standards, best practices, and security protocols.
- Engage in architecture discussions and provide expert technical input.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3 to 5 years' hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce or Dynamics 365 Retail development.
- Expertise in Commerce Runtime (CRT), Retail Server Extensions, POS Extensions (MPOS, CPOS, Store Commerce), Hardware Station development, and Commerce Scale Unit (CSU).
- Proficiency with Azure Functions and integrations with ERP systems, payment gateways, loyalty programs, and third-party applications.
- Understanding of Commerce architecture, channel database, and synchronization procedures.
- Familiarity with source control tools like Git and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Jewellery domain and working on retail-oriented projects is advantageous.
