Job Overview

The Porter role focuses on ensuring high resident satisfaction by keeping property units clean and secure, promoting a pleasant living environment.

Key Duties

• Prepare vacant units properly for new residents, maintaining a consistent professional appearance.
• Perform daily cleaning of leasing offices, common areas such as amenity spaces, laundry facilities, and other shared property locations as directed.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of supplies, equipment, and other property or management assets.
• Respond politely and efficiently to requests from residents and management, while reporting any unusual or significant incidents concerning the property or tenants.
• Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
• Complete additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Possess a high school diploma or an equivalent certification.
• Basic literacy skills including the ability to read simple two- and three-syllable words and numbers, and communicate using simple sentences.
• Capable of safely lifting and moving up to 75 pounds while operating maintenance machinery and equipment, such as installation of outdoor air conditioning units.
• Frequent bending and stooping required to access necessary equipment and machinery.
• Experience or knowledge in the safe handling and upkeep of cleaning chemicals and tools.
