About the Role

Core Responsibilities
- Arrive punctually and wear the correct uniform at all times.
- Comply with the company's clocking-in procedures.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene and grooming standards.
- Prepare meeting and event rooms according to weekly function schedules, ensuring setup, breakdown, and resetting as needed.
- Coordinate closely with the front office team regarding client needs and requests.
- Fulfill room service requests promptly when required.
- Support other departments as necessary, adhering to company quality standards.
- Strictly follow hygiene regulations and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of public and staff areas within the hotel.
- Proactively anticipate guests’ needs to enhance their experience.
- Implement customer relations policies aimed at maintaining the hotel's 4-star service standards.
- Adhere to fire safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations including the Health and Safety at Work Act 2005.
- Report and, when feasible, respond to incidents involving accidents or damages within the hotel.
- Familiarize and comply with company policies and procedures found in the staff handbook and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Safeguard company assets, including money and goods.
- Report guest comments and feedback to management in a timely manner.
- Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives throughout the hotel.
- Maintain strong, professional relationships with colleagues and management.
- Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring management is informed.
- Promote and upsell the hotel's products and services whenever possible.
- Carry out other occasional duties relevant to the position as required.
Additional Duties
- Deliver outstanding customer service aligning with the Talbot Collection’s 'Empower Your Excellence' program, acting as an ambassador for the brand.
- Uphold professionalism and integrity during all interactions with internal teams and external guests.
- Provide service to guests in the bar and bistro areas, including room service support.
- Consistently represent the hotel’s four-star standards through all customer interactions.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of the hotel's services, facilities, and the wider Talbot Collection offerings.
- Participate fully in all requested internal and external trainings, being punctual and prepared.
- Take a proactive role in health and safety by reporting and responding to incidents where possible.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, directives, and energy conservation measures.
