About the Role
Lodestone House is seeking a committed Porter to contribute to seamless operations at Chartwells. This full-time position involves a 37.5-hour workweek, scheduled across five days out of seven, and is contracted for 45 weeks annually.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the lobby and other public areas.
- Support housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams by preparing rooms and moving furniture as needed.
- Manage some reception tasks like booking theatre tickets and making dining reservations.
- Attend to customer requests promptly and effectively.
- Run errands to support operational needs.
- Promote customer safety by placing and removing signage indicating hazards, such as wet floors or areas being painted.

- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport.
- Experience providing outstanding customer service.
