School Kitchen Porter

About the Role

We are seeking a committed Kitchen Porter to join the team at Chartwells in Cambridge on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week. This is a term-time only position, covering 46 weeks annually, and involves maintaining excellent kitchen cleanliness and supporting food preparation efforts to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen to a consistently high standard of cleanliness.
• Assist quickly in preparing fresh food items within a busy kitchen environment.
• Ensure chefs have all necessary resources to produce fresh dishes.
• Prepare blended drinks and serve quality food that satisfies customers.
• Work enthusiastically as part of a team.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I positively and uphold the company's brand image.
• Adhere strictly to Food Handling and Hygiene standards.
• Comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations.
