Storeperson / Porter

Overview

Lodestone House is seeking a committed Porter to ensure operational efficiency and maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service at Chartwells. This full-time position is contracted for 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday daytime shifts, totaling 44.6 working weeks annually.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in the lobby and other public areas.
• Providing support to housekeeping, restaurant, and banqueting teams by setting up rooms and moving furniture as needed.
• Performing certain reception-related tasks such as booking theatre tickets and reserving restaurant tables.
• Responding promptly and effectively to customer requests.
• Running various errands to support daily operations.
• Ensuring customer safety by appropriately placing and removing safety signage, including wet floor warnings.
