Job Summary

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the front of house areas, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations to ensure a smooth and sanitary service flow.

Responsibilities

• Clear, bus, and clean tables and counters, and sweep floors during peak hours; prepare areas before service begins.
• Follow safety protocols when moving dishes and utensils from service areas to the kitchen using trays, bus tubs, or carts.
• Wash dishes, glasses, and cookware either by hand or dishwashing equipment while maintaining sanitation standards.
• Scrape and rinse food residue from dishes before washing to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain the cleanliness and debris-free condition of display equipment during meal service.
• Assist with receiving heavy deliveries and move stock to designated storage areas adhering to safe lifting techniques.
• Ensure proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperature compliance according to HACCP guidelines.
• Commit to personal and team safety, utilizing protective gear such as cut-resistant gloves, oven mitts, and slip-resistant shoes.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Ability to safely lift between 50 to 70 pounds on occasion.
• Strong commitment to safety and sanitation standards.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time role located at Bay Area CRS - 3536 Arden Road, Hayward, CA 94545. The working hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.

• Hourly wage of $26.40.
