Role Overview
We are in search of a highly motivated Porter who is proactive, customer-service oriented, and passionate about maintaining high-quality standards and enhancing the environment for both residents and team members. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, results-driven, and capable of working under tight deadlines while contributing to a positive organizational culture through collaboration and team events.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation of the property, both indoors and outdoors, ensuring timely trash removal.
- Prioritize safety by adhering strictly to safety protocols, routinely inspecting the premises to reduce hazards, and promptly reporting issues.
- Serve as a vital communication link between residents and maintenance teams, handling concerns, delivering notices, and updating on property events.
- Adapt to changing operational demands, effectively managing multiple resident service requests and facility needs through strong time management and prioritization.
- Conduct thorough cleaning and preparation of vacated units to ensure they meet the quality standards for new residents.
- Support community-building by assisting in setting up, managing, and concluding resident events.
- Proactively address problems beyond assigned tasks and actively seek leadership opportunities to contribute to company goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of preferred experience in maintenance or related work.
- Customer-focused approach with a positive attitude and reliable follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Competency in planning, prioritizing, and leading others when needed.
- Capacity to perform well in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks and interruptions.
- Organizational skills for maintaining filing and office areas.
- Valid driver's license and personal transportation (applicable in some locations).
- Familiarity with the local city and transportation options, both public and private.
- Fluency in English required.
- Basic technological proficiency, including use of smartphones and computers.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and similar computer applications.
Physical Requirements
- Regular standing, walking, sitting for extended periods, as well as clear hearing and speaking capabilities.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Vision requirements include close vision, color detection, depth perception, focus adjustment, and extended computer monitor use.
- Manual dexterity for handling office equipment like keyboards and mice.
- Ability to lift or move items weighing approximately 40 pounds or more.
