Pool Plant Operator

Overview

The Cove Rotana Resort in Ras Al Khaimah is seeking a dedicated Pool Plant Operator responsible for managing pool plant systems to maintain safe and clean swimming pools in accordance with regulatory standards.

Primary Duties

• Operate and carry out maintenance of pool plant machinery including pumps, filters, chlorinators, and chemical feeders.
• Regularly monitor and adjust pool water chemical levels to maintain effective sanitation and balanced pH.
• Conduct inspections of pool equipment and facilities to promptly identify and fix issues.
• Maintain detailed logs of water quality, chemical consumption, and maintenance work performed.
• Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints related to pool water conditions.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations and standards at all times.
• Support pool cleaning and upkeep tasks as necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience as a Pool Plant Operator or in a closely related field.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining pool plant equipment.
• Understanding of water treatment chemistry and technologies.
• Certification in pool operation or water treatment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong detail orientation and the ability to resolve problems efficiently.
• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication skills and customer service aptitude.

• Understanding of chemical safety protocols and handling procedures.
• Competency in routine maintenance and troubleshooting of pool systems.
