Polisher - Painter

Position Overview

This role involves applying paint, stain, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, and furniture using various tools such as brushes, spray guns, or rollers. The candidate will prepare surfaces by applying primers or sealers and removing old finishes through sanding, stripping, or abrasive techniques. Protective coverings must be applied to areas before painting, and appropriate signage posted. Post-task duties include cleaning and storing tools properly, as well as collaborating with vendors to adjust paint colors when needed.

Safety and Conduct

The individual must adhere strictly to company safety and security policies, promptly report any maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries, and complete all required safety trainings and certifications. Professional appearance and confidentiality regarding proprietary information are mandatory. The role requires welcoming and assisting guests according to company standards, including those with disabilities. Clear and professional communication is expected, along with teamwork to achieve common objectives.

Physical Requirements

The candidate should be capable of repetitive physical tasks, such as reaching overhead and bending, using ladders, handling objects up to 50 pounds independently, and sustaining standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.

Additional Duties

Other reasonable tasks may be assigned by supervisors to support operational needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school diploma.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience.
• No supervisory experience expected.
• No licenses or certifications required.
