Polish Technician

About the Role

Motability Operations is seeking an experienced Vehicle Polisher to join their busy, state-of-the-art refurbishment centre located in Coalville on a permanent full-time basis. This high-volume operation consistently provides steady work with no downtime, utilizing a modern fleet of vehicles and the latest polishing and paint correction equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine polishing and finishing on vehicle paintwork to achieve premium quality.
• Block and polish vehicle panels to a high standard.
• Remove paint defects by de-nibbing and complete paint rectification tasks.
• Carry out final polish stages preparing vehicles for handover.
• Ensure first-time-right results that meet reconditioning standards.

Work Schedule and Location

This role requires presence onsite at the Coalville facility five days per week, working 45 hours weekly in 9-hour shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with shift patterns discussed during interview.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in panel blocking and polishing.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in paint rectification.
• Familiarity with SMART repairs is advantageous.
• Full UK driving license with manual transmission capability.
