Job Overview

We are looking to hire a knowledgeable and experienced Police Dog Trainer responsible for training, handling, and caring for working dogs employed in security, law enforcement, and operation-related roles. The role demands expertise in dog obedience, detection skills, patrol training, and managing canine behavior effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement training programs for police and security dogs to prepare them for operational tasks.
• Execute obedience training, tracking, patrol exercises, and detection drills for the dogs.
• Regularly monitor the health, behavior, and performance of the dogs under your care.
• Maintain detailed records and reports regarding training progress and dog performance.
• Ensure the welfare, proper handling, and care of all assigned dogs.
• Provide support during operational deployments and field exercises as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of five years' experience as a Police Dog Trainer, K9 Handler, or an equivalent position.
• Demonstrated ability in training canines for patrol, detection, tracking, and obedience purposes.
• Deep understanding of canine behavior, health considerations, and welfare standards.
• Capability to evaluate dog performance and implement improvement strategies.
• Experience collaborating with security forces, military, or law enforcement K9 units is highly preferred.
• Physical fitness sufficient for outdoor work and demanding conditions.
• Possession of a valid driving license is advantageous.
