Role Summary

As a PMO and Automation Analyst, you will spearhead the evolution of project governance by leveraging automation and data analytics. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Finance, and offshore VOIS teams, you will design and implement AI-powered workflows, Power Automate solutions, and interactive dashboards aimed at simplifying project financial governance and reporting. Your efforts will focus on minimizing manual tasks by introducing intelligent automation, enhancing overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee automated workflows for crucial project governance functions such as resource time monitoring, approval processes, and financial updates using tools like Power Automate and AI/ML technologies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Finance to ensure precise, real-time monitoring of project budgets and forecasts, employing digital dashboards for effective spend tracking and resource allocation.
• Coordinate budget management activities with offshore VOIS teams, ensuring smooth integration of outsourced project expenses into overall financial tracking with proper approvals.
• Create and refine interactive dashboards and management reports using platforms such as Power BI to provide senior stakeholders with transparent and timely insights into project statuses, risks, and key indicators.
• Conduct comprehensive data analyses to detect trends or areas for enhancement, presenting findings with clear visuals and presentations to facilitate leadership decisions.
• Champion governance by standardizing project management templates, automating processes, and promoting compliance with data governance standards across teams.
• Continuously identify process inefficiencies, proposing and implementing automation initiatives or process improvements to boost productivity and reduce errors.
• Engage stakeholders by promoting new tools and workflows, providing coaching and training to embed a culture driven by data and automation.

Required Skills and Experience

• Practical knowledge or strong aptitude in automation and analytics tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, or comparable platforms, including capability to script simple automation or use AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Proficiency in project financial management encompassing budget control, forecasting, and detailed numerical analysis with high accuracy.
• Understanding of project management processes and experience with software such as SharePoint, Microsoft Project, alongside advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data handling and presentations.
• Innovative problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing technical solutions that improve operational processes.
• Strong self-organization skills, ability to juggle multiple priorities, excellent communication with diverse stakeholders, and a collaborative work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a PMO, IT project delivery, or digital transformation function, particularly in complex organizational settings.
• Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA), scripting languages like VBA or Python, or AI-driven applications; relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or data analytics are a plus.
• Experience collaborating with offshore or remote teams and understanding cross-cultural organizational dynamics.
• Background in telecommunications or technology projects with insight into common industry challenges.
