Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems throughout the hotel premises.
• Promptly address plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and other maintenance requests.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing components including pipes, valves, pumps, water heaters, tanks, toilets, showers, and sinks.
• Regularly inspect plumbing systems to detect and resolve potential problems before major faults occur.
• Attend to plumbing complaints from guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, staff zones, and back-of-house locations.
• Repair and upkeep sanitary fixtures such as faucets, flush valves, mixers, and other fittings.
• Assist the Engineering team with renovations, room upkeep, and new plumbing installations.
• Monitor water tanks and pumps, and communicate any irregularities to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Ensure effective drainage systems for wastewater and sewage lines.
• Collaborate closely with other departments like Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Stewarding to resolve plumbing-related concerns.
• Maintain an adequate inventory of plumbing tools, spare parts, and materials, reporting needs to supervisors.
• Adhere to hotel safety protocols, preventive maintenance schedules, and comply with local regulations.
• Keep accurate documentation of all repairs, maintenance, and work performed.
• Ensure all work areas are clean and safe after completing maintenance activities.
• Provide emergency support during water leaks, pipe bursts, flooding, or drainage failures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer.
