About the Role

Join WPS as a qualified Plumber based at our Winchester Basepoint office to deliver essential plumbing repair and maintenance services within social housing. You will play a crucial role in upholding safety, functionality, and high standards in residents' homes through responsive maintenance across a social housing contract.

Responsibilities

• Execute a diverse range of plumbing repairs and installation tasks.
• Perform minor maintenance and multi-trade duties as required.
• Identify plumbing faults and provide efficient first-time solutions.
• Use PDA or mobile devices to manage and update work orders.
• Coordinate with schedulers and managers about follow-up repairs and necessary materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to ensure excellent results.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally represent WPS at all times.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Possess an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or an equivalent qualification.
• Hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
• Demonstrated experience in responsive maintenance, social housing, or related environments.
• Strong skills in fault detection and practical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work independently while efficiently managing workloads.
